We are looking for a skilled and responsible Crane Operator to safely operate overhead/EOT cranes for handling steel coils, sheets, and other materials within the plant. The candidate will be responsible for safe material movement, proper loading and unloading, and supporting production, packing, and dispatch operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate EOT/overhead cranes safely for handling and movement of steel coils and finished materials.

- Load, unload, shift, and position coils accurately as per production and dispatch requirements.

- Ensure proper use of slings, hooks, lifting tools, and other crane accessories.

- Check the crane and lifting accessories before starting operations and report any abnormalities.

- Follow approved lifting procedures and ensure safe movement of materials.

- Coordinate with Production, Packing, Stores, and Dispatch teams for timely material movement.

- Ensure proper placement and stacking of coils in designated areas.

- Prevent damage to coils, machines, pallets, and other plant equipment during handling.





- Follow all safety rules, PPE requirements, and company SOPs.

- Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping around crane operating areas.

- Report crane defects, unsafe conditions, and incidents immediately to the supervisor.

- Support smooth production and dispatch operations through timely material handling.

Requirements

- Education: 10th / 12th / ITI or equivalent.

- Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in EOT/overhead crane operation.

- Experience in steel, coil processing, sheet metal, manufacturing, or heavy engineering industries will be preferred.

- Practical experience in handling steel coils and heavy materials is an advantage.

- Valid crane operator certification/license, where applicable.

- Valuable understanding of protected lifting practices and crane signals.

- Responsible attitude with strong focus on safety.

- Must be willing to work in rotational shifts.
