Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Epic BI Consultant / Senior Healthcare Data Analyst with 6+ years of expertise in healthcare analytics, Epic systems, and cloud data warehousing.

The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between complex healthcare data structures and business intelligence, delivering end-to-end analytics solutions across clinical, financial, and operational domains. This role requires strong hands-on experience with the Epic Cogito stack (Clarity, Caboodle, Radar), advanced SQL, Snowflake, Power BI, and data modeling for healthcare systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Epic Analytics & Migration: Develop and validate datasets using Epic Cogito, Clarity SQL, and Caboodle Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) structures. Perform data mapping, ETL validation, and reconciliation for EHR system transitions (e.g., Cerner-to-Epic migration).
- BI & Dashboard Development: Design, build,



and optimize interactive executive and operational dashboards in Power BI and Tableau utilizing DAX, Power Query, drill-through navigation, and Row-Level Security (RLS).
- Data Modeling & Architecture: Create and maintain enterprise star-schema semantic data models, defining fact/dimension relationships, calculated columns, and optimized measures.
- Data Engineering & Cloud Warehousing: Query, transform, and validate large-scale healthcare datasets across SQL Server, Snowflake, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS). Build and optimize stored procedures, views, functions, and complex joins.
- Domain Reporting: Deliver reporting solutions across clinical care, patient journey, insurance verification, claims, reimbursement, and prior authorization workflows utilizing HL7/FHIR feeds.
- Governance & Delivery: Ensure all analytics solutions comply with HIPAA and data governance standards. Lead stakeholder requirement gathering, UAT support, defect resolution, deployment, and production support in an Agile environment.

Required Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor's degree (B. Tech/BE) mandatory, masters optional
- Experience: 6+ years in Healthcare BI, Data Analytics, or Healthcare Data Engineering.
- Epic Cogito Suite: Hands-on experience with Epic Clarity, Caboodle EDW, Radar Dashboards, and SlicerDicer / Cogito reporting metrics.
- Databases & Cloud: Advanced SQL/T-SQL, SQL Server query optimization, CTEs, Window Functions, and hands-on experience with Snowflake. Exposure to AWS/Azure cloud ecosystems.
- BI Tools: Mastery in Power BI (Desktop & Service, DAX, Power Query, RLS) and Tableau.
- Healthcare Standards: Robust understanding of HIPAA compliance, HL7/FHIR data structures, and clinical/financial healthcare workflows.
