We are looking for an experienced Environmental Engineer to manage and monitor environmental compliance and sustainability-related activities at the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable environmental laws, regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Manage environmental aspects related to STP, ETP, waste management, water management, and pollution control.
- Monitor and maintain environmental records, reports, permits, and statutory documentation.
- Coordinate with external agencies, vendors, and regulatory authorities for environmental compliance.
- Conduct regular site inspections and identify environmental risks and improvement opportunities.
- Ensure proper segregation, storage, handling, and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
- Monitor water, wastewater, air quality, and other environmental parameters as applicable.
- Support environmental audits, inspections, and compliance assessments.
- Prepare MIS reports and maintain relevant environmental documentation.
- Drive awareness and sustainability initiatives at the facility.
- Coordinate with the Engineering, Facility Management, and HSE teams for environmental improvement activities.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Degree/Diploma in Environmental Engineering / Environmental Science / Civil Engineering or a relevant discipline.
- 2–6 years of relevant experience in environmental management, facility management, manufacturing, industrial, pharma, IT/ITES, or similar environments.
- Knowledge of STP/ETP, waste management, environmental compliance, pollution control, and sustainability.
- Valuable communication, coordination, documentation, and reporting skills.
- Candidates with experience in handling environmental audits and statutory compliance will be preferred.
