Role Description The Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) at Returns is a full time, on-site role based in Gurugram. About the Role We are looking for an exceptional Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) who is excited to work directly with the founders and help build new businesses, products, and initiatives from 0→1.

This is a highly entrepreneurial role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, moves quickly, thinks analytically, and takes complete ownership. You will identify opportunities, validate ideas, run experiments, and turn promising concepts into scalable products and businesses across FinTech, Investing, Wealth Management, AI, and Global Markets.

You will work closely with the founders and have significant autonomy to shape strategy, execution, and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and evaluate new business, product, and market opportunities.
- Work directly with founders to take ideas from concept to launch.
- Conduct market research, customer discovery, and competitive analysis.
- Develop and validate business hypotheses through rapid experiments.
- Build MVPs, prototypes, and go-to-market strategies.
- Analyze customer feedback, market data,



and business metrics to guide decisions.
- Own projects end-to-end, from ideation and validation through execution and scaling.
- Collaborate across product, technology, growth, operations, partnerships, and strategy.
- Identify customer pain points and develop solutions that address real-world problems.
- Explore opportunities across FinTech, investing, wealth, AI, and global financial markets.
- Build and manage relationships with potential partners, customers, and stakeholders.
- Establish processes and operating mechanisms for new initiatives.
- Present findings, recommendations, and progress directly to the founders.
- Move quickly from learning to execution and continuously iterate based on results.

What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of professional experience in startups, entrepreneurship, consulting, product, strategy, finance, technology, growth, or a related field.
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset with a demonstrated ability to build and ship.
- Highly analytical and comfortable using data to make decisions.
- Exceptional problem-solving and structured-thinking abilities.
- Strong execution skills with a high level of ownership and accountability.
- Comfortable working in highly ambiguous and fast-changing environments.
- Ability to move between strategy and hands-on execution.
- Robust communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Curiosity about FinTech, investing, AI, wealth management, and global markets.
- Ability to independently identify problems and turn them into actionable opportunities.

Preferred / Nice to Have
- Prior startup experience.
- Experience as a founder, co-founder, or early-stage employee.
- Experience independently building and launching a product, business, website, app, or other initiative.
- Experience in FinTech, financial services, investing, wealth management, AI, or capital markets.
- Product management, growth, business strategy, consulting, or investment experience.
- Experience working directly with founders or senior leadership.
