Role Description The English Teacher role at Times Value School is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India.

The English

Teacher will design and deliver engaging lessons that build students’ reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in English.

Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans aligned with the curriculum, assessing student performance, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate records of progress. The teacher will create a positive, inclusive classroom environment, manage classroom behavior, and support diverse learning needs. Additional duties include collaborating with colleagues,



participating in school meetings and events, and communicating regularly with parents or guardians about student development.

Qualifications

- Solid English Teaching and Teaching skills, with the ability to instruct students at different proficiency levels.
- Lesson Planning and Education skills to design structured, age-appropriate learning activities and assessments.
- Effective Communication skills for transparent instruction, feedback, and interaction with students, colleagues, and families.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in English, Education, or a related field; formal teacher training or certification is an advantage.
- Experience teaching English in a school setting, preferably at primary or secondary level.
- Ability to create an inclusive classroom that supports diverse backgrounds and learning styles.
- Strong classroom management skills and a student-centered teaching approach.
- Comfort with using basic educational technology and digital resources to enhance learning.
