Job Objective To provide effective and engaging English language and literature instruction, develop students’ communication and writing skills, and support their overall academic development.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver effective English lessons according to the prescribed school curriculum.
- Teach English grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing skills, communication skills and literature.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, question papers and revision materials.
- Complete the prescribed syllabus within the academic schedule.
- Conduct regular class tests, assessments and examinations.
- Evaluate students’ written and oral work and provide constructive feedback.
- Identify students who require additional academic support and conduct remedial activities.
- Maintain proper classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Encourage students to participate in debates, speeches, discussions, storytelling, reading and other language activities.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, academic performance and student progress.
- Communicate students’ academic progress and concerns to parents when required.
- Participate actively in school functions,



competitions, co-curricular activities and academic programmes.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers and the school administration.
- Use appropriate digital tools and teaching resources to make lessons more interactive.
- Maintain professional conduct and follow all school rules, policies and procedures.
- Attend staff meetings, training programmes and other duties assigned by the Principal/Management.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in English / English Literature.
- B.Ed. or relevant teaching qualification preferred.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Strong knowledge of English grammar and literature.
- Valuable classroom management and communication skills.
- Basic computer and digital teaching skills.
- Previous teaching experience will be an advantage.
