We are looking for a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our school. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of English, effective classroom management skills, and the ability to create an engaging and supportive learning environment for students.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons according to the prescribed curriculum.
- Teach English language, grammar, reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills.
- Use activity-based and student-centred teaching methods to make learning effective and interactive.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
- Assess students' learning and provide constructive feedback to support their academic progress.
- Identify students who need additional support and provide appropriate guidance.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom workplace.
- Encourage students to develop communication, vocabulary, reading, and writing skills.
- Use appropriate Teaching-Learning Materials (TLMs)
and digital resources to enhance classroom learning.
- Maintain student attendance, assessment records, and other academic documentation.
- Participate in school meetings, teacher training, academic activities, and events.
- Communicate effectively with parents and school management regarding students' academic progress when required.
- Collaborate with other teachers and the academic team to improve teaching and learning outcomes.
Requirements
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred/required as per school norms.
- Prior teaching experience will be an advantage; freshers with strong subject knowledge may also be considered.
