Role Description This is a remote, contract role for an English Second Language Teacher. The teacher will design and deliver engaging online English lessons to learners from diverse backgrounds, focusing on language development in reading, writing, listening, and speaking.

Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and learning materials, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and adapting teaching methods to different proficiency levels.

The teacher may also offer specialized coaching for exams such as IELTS and support learners with study-abroad or immigration-related language requirements.



Collaboration with Trivasia Overseas counselors to align language training with students’ overseas goals may be part of the day-to-day work.

Qualifications

- Robust English Teaching skills, including experience Teaching English as a Foreign Language and general Teaching across different proficiency levels.
- Ability to create effective Lesson Planning and structured curricula tailored to learner goals and backgrounds.
- Experience preparing learners for English proficiency exams, particularly IELTS, and familiarity with exam formats and strategies.
- Relevant teaching certification (e.g., TEFL, TESOL, CELTA) and a bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly to non-native speakers.
- Comfort with online teaching platforms, digital tools, and remote classroom management.
- Strong intercultural competence, patience, and a learner-centered approach to teaching.
- Previous experience working with students pursuing overseas education or immigration is an advantage.
