About the role

We are looking for a Senior Technical Services Engineer / Technical Services Engineer to support mining operations in Udaipur, India.

This is a customer-facing, site-based technical role focused on delivering Technical Services support across mining operations. You will apply your mining and drill-and-blast knowledge to support safe execution, analyse blast performance and help improve technical outcomes.

For experienced candidates, relevant underground mining expertise remains highly valued.

What you will be doing In this role, you will:

- Deliver Technical Services support to mining operations and customer sites.
- Support protected execution of technical and blasting activities.
- Apply technical knowledge across underground drilling and blasting activities.
- Support blast design, charging methods, initiation systems and sequence control.




- Analyse blast performance and use operational data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Work closely with customers to understand technical requirements and support effective solutions.
- Support product stewardship and safe application of blasting-related products and services.
- Contribute technical expertise to support customer and business requirements.
- For the senior-level position, provide technical guidance and support the development of Technical Services Engineers.
- Travel to customer sites as required by the role.

What you will bring

You will have

- A Bachelor's degree, B.Tech or B.E. in Mining Engineering from a recognised institution.
- Relevant mining and Technical Services knowledge appropriate to the level of the position.
- Knowledge of drilling and blasting principles and practices.
- An understanding of blast design, charging, initiation systems, sequence control and blast-performance assessment.
- The ability to analyse technical information and use data to support improvements.
- The ability to work effectively with customers and operational stakeholders.
- A strong commitment to safe mining and blasting practices.

Experience in underground metal mining, including base-metal or comparable hard-rock underground operations, is particularly relevant to the role.

Preferred

- DGMS knowledge or relevant certification.
- Experience with blast modelling.
- Fragmentation analysis.
- Vibration monitoring.
- Digital blasting tools.
- Technical Services exposure across multiple sites.

For the senior-level position, relevant experience supporting, coaching or developing Technical Services Engineers is also important.
