Key Responsibilities

- Lead and mentor multiple engineering teams (frontend, backend, platform, etc.) building scalable, customer‑facing products.
- Drive end‑to‑end product development lifecycle: planning, estimation, execution, release, and post‑launch support.
- Define and improve engineering practices (code quality, CI/CD, testing strategy, observability, incident management).
- Collaborate with Product Managers to refine roadmaps, prioritize features, and balance technical debt, reliability, and innovation.
- Ensure code quality, scalability, security, and maintainability through design reviews, architecture guidance, and standards.
- Hire, onboard, and grow engineers; conduct performance reviews and career development conversations.
- Represent engineering in leadership forums; provide explicit status updates, risk visibility, and data‑driven insights.

Qualifications
- 12+ years of overall IT experience with strong hands‑on engineering background in software development.
- 5+ years in a people‑management or engineering‑lead role, managing teams of 6–12+ engineers.
- Strong technical foundation in modern stacks (e.g., Java/Node.js/Python, Spring Boot, microservices, REST/gRPC, cloud‑native).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), CI/CD, monitoring, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum, product development, and startup/enterprise product environments.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills; ability to balance business and technical priorities.




- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field; advanced degree or certifications are a plus.
