We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and develop a team of structural engineering professionals within a growing Value Engineering function.
This role offers a balance of people leadership and technical engineering , with a strong focus on building a high-performing team, developing engineers and ensuring high-quality engineering delivery.
What You'll Do
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of structural engineers.
- Manage team performance, objectives, workload and career development.
- Coach engineers and build a strong technical and collaborative team culture.
- Provide technical guidance and ensure quality of engineering deliverables.
- Oversee structural design, BIM modelling and engineering documentation.
- Support projects involving steel structures, pipe racks, MEP supports, data centres and similar engineering applications .
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to understand customer and project requirements.
- Support technical responses to RFIs, RFPs and RFQs .
- Coordinate engineering activities, project priorities, timelines and deliverables.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and solutions.
What You'll Bring
- Master's degree in Structural Engineering
- 10–12 years of relevant structural engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in steel structure design .
- Proven experience managing and developing engineering teams.
- Strong coaching and mentoring mindset.
- Experience with Revit and Navisworks .
- Experience with structural analysis/design tools such as STAAD, ASTABS or equivalent .
- Experience in pipe racks, MEP supports, data centres or similar projects is highly desirable.
- Positive understanding of BIM and EPC environments .
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand both technical and commercial aspects of engineering delivery.
Good to Have
- Experience with Profis MSC or similar engineering design tools.
- Experience with BIM 360, Inventor, Vault or I-Logic.
- Exposure to E3D / S3D or plant design.
- Experience working with international/global engineering teams.
