About Role
Own the build of the commerce platform and the service-marketplace ("Uberization") product line end-to-end: architecture direction, squad building, vendor/platform decisions, delivery to ~70 lakh live subscribers
Role & responsibilities
Mandatory Expertise required in below areas
- Shipped consumer digital products at millions-of-users scale can name what they owned vs. what the org owned
- Built engineering teams from zero (hired, normed, retained); developed named successors
- Led a replatforming / legacy migration on a live revenue system without stopping the business
- Architecture fluency in Java-microservices / API-first / event-driven estates credible in a design review even if no longer coding daily
- Commercial ownership: vendor negotiation, build-vs-buy decisions, budget accountability
Nice to have
- Commerce, marketplace, subscriptions or billing domain
- Telecom / media / OTT background
- Agile-at-scale delivery leadership (multiple parallel squads)
Stack we look for on the CV: Java/Spring microservices estates, PostgreSQL, Kafka, React/React Native products, Kubernetes on a major cloud as the platform they LED, plus evidence of commerce/marketplace product delivery.
