Role Overview :

As an Engineering Manager for the Platform team, you will serve as the technical anchor for our core infrastructure, driving the evolution of our high-scale systems to support rapid business growth. You will lead a high-performing team of engineers, collaborating closely with product managers, DevOps, and cross-functional stakeholders to build robust, scalable, and secure platform services. Your work will directly influence the reliability and performance of our entire product ecosystem, ensuring that our technical foundation remains a competitive advantage that delivers seamless experiences to millions of users.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and oversee the development of highly available microservices to ensure the platform can handle increasing traffic demands and complex business logic.
- Mentor and coach a team of senior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, code quality, and continuous improvement through regular design reviews and feedback loops.
- Partner with product and business leadership to align technical roadmaps with organizational goals, ensuring that platform initiatives translate into tangible business outcomes.
- Drive the adoption of best-in-class engineering practices, including automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and observability,



to minimize downtime and accelerate feature delivery.
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of platform projects, balancing immediate technical debt resolution with long-term strategic innovation to maintain system stability.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in designing and scaling complex distributed systems and microservices architectures within a high-traffic environment.
- Proficiency in backend development using Java or Python, with a deep understanding of how to optimize performance and memory management at scale.
- Extensive hands-on experience managing cloud-native infrastructure on AWS, including optimizing resource utilization and implementing robust security protocols.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire engineering teams in an Agile environment, with a focus on clear communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management.
- Solid analytical mindset to troubleshoot critical production issues and translate complex technical requirements into actionable development tasks.
- A background in Computer Science or a related engineering field, complemented by the ability to thrive in a collaborative, hybrid work environment based in Gurugram.
