Engineering Manager and Lead

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities.
- Develop and implement engineering practices, workflows, and procedures.
- Prepare project estimates with respect to cost and man-hours.
- Ensure compliance with the Discipline Manual and Job Manual during project execution.
- Participate in project design review meetings and ensure timely quality review of inter-discipline documents and vendor deliverables.
- Coordinate the preparation and completion of As-Built documentation.
- Prepare engineering close-out documentation and associated action lists.
- Attend inspections as required by the Inspection Department.
- Provide site assistance by responding to site queries.
- Perform electrical system studies using ETAP, including short circuit studies, load flow studies, and motor starting studies.

Required Qualifications:

- Solid technical knowledge in electrical engineering and design.
- Experience in project execution, including project design, project setup, and project close-out.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Experience working with international vendors and international standards.

Technical Skills & Experience:

- Experience with VSI and LCI Soft Starters and LV VFDs.
- Experience working with large machines rated 5 MW and above,



including induction motors, synchronous motors, and turbines.
- Experience in preparation and review of inquiry documents, purchase requisitions, equipment data sheets, and technical bid evaluations for electrical equipment.
- Experience in inspection of various electrical equipment, including motors, switchgears, UPS, DC systems, and other electrical equipment.
- Experience in vendor drawing review for transformers, MV and LV switchgears, capacitor banks, UPS and DC systems, soft starters, LV VFDs, MV and LV motors, heaters, and diesel generators.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with ETAP and DIALux.
- Experience with international standards, including NFPA, NEC, IEEE, ANSI, and IEC.
- Experience with hazardous area layouts, cable routing, conduit and cable tray sizing, earthing/grounding layouts, lighting layouts and circuiting, lightning protection layouts, and motors, drives, and large machines.
