- To define suspension geometry, vehicle transversal, longitudinal and vertical construction for passenger cars
- To Ensure convergence of Chassis Integration and Synthesis
- To Pilot the deployment of Axle and Suspension Parts - in compliance with design requirements
- To define right sizing of axle and suspension parts through load case deployments and simulations
- Testing and Validation: Plan and execute Vehicle level tests on proving grounds or rigs to measure suspension kinematics, compliance, and steering response.
- Tuning and Optimization: To support RH team to Fine-tune chassis components-such as dampers, springs, anti-roll bars, and tires-to match design targets and user comfort.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with software, hardware, and manufacturing teams to integrate control strategies for braking, steering, and stability systems.
- Deep understanding of vehicle mechanics, tire modelling, suspension design, and data analysis
Mandate Skills
- Vehicle dynamics, Axle and Suspension Design
- Positive knowledge on 1D simulations and durability simulations
- Good knowledge on Statistical analysis
- CATIA V5/V6
- Expertise in Simulation software- ADAMS, SHARK,MADA.
- Excel VBA Scripting
- High Driving Skill to evaluate Ride Handling attributes
