The Engineer / Senior Engineer (WHRB & TG) will lead and oversee the mechanical execution, erection, testing, and commissioning of Waste Heat Recovery Boilers (WHRB) and Steam Turbine Generators (TG) for Captive Power Plant (CPP) projects. This role involves managing high-pressure piping, air-cooled condensers (ACC), boiler pressure parts, and vendor management to deliver project milestones on schedule, within budget, and to safety and quality standards.

Oversee the end-to-end erection, alignment, and testing of Waste Heat Recovery Boiler (WHRB) components.

Supervise boiler pressure part erection, including drums, superheaters, economizers, evaporators, headers, and bank tubes.

Manage the installation, alignment, and mechanical clearance checks for Steam Turbines, Gearboxes, and Generators.

Oversee the erection and assembly of Air-Cooled Condensers (ACC), including ducting, fan decks, tube bundles, and vacuum systems.

Drive fabrication, fit-up, welding, erection, and testing of High-Pressure (HP) & Low-Pressure (LP) steam piping.





Supervise piping support installation, spring hanger settings, thermal expansion checks, and cold/hot alignment.

Monitor daily progress against project schedules (PERT/GANTT charts) and take corrective actions for delays.

Coordinate with contractors, site engineers, OEMs, and third-party inspection agencies (TPIA/IBR inspectors).

Verify Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC) documentation, Quality Assurance Plans (QAP), and Field Quality Plans (FQP).

Ensure strict adherence to site EHS (Setting, Health, and Safety) standards during heavy lifting and critical site activities.

In-depth knowledge of WHRB, Steam Turbines, Auxiliaries, and Air-Cooled Condensers (ACC).

Strong site team handling and contractor management abilities.

Clear communication and reporting skills (Daily/Weekly/Monthly reports).

Pay: ₹48,000.00 - ₹59,000.00 per month
