- Knowledge in any Transmission aggregates like Gear box, Rear axle, clutch, propeller shaft etc.
- Experience in preparing Gearbox or axle layout, Clutch actuation or Gear shift layout.
- Experience in preparing 3D modeling, 2D drawing in CATIA V5 or any other equivalent software is must. Knowledge of working on Autocad is of added advantage.
- Understanding of DFMEA, APQP etc. & working experience.
- GD&T; knowledge, applying it on drawing
- DVP preparation & Testing requirement finalisation for any part or assembly
- Field issues analysis & finding solution for the same.
- Design analysis for Transmission components.
- Knowledge in Gear calculation & analysis. Knowledge of working on softwares like Romax, MASTA etc.
- Work experience on PLM
- Basic understanding of machining of components like casting, forging etc.
