Role & responsibilities

- Install, commission, and troubleshoot industrial robots and automation systems at customer sites.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of robotic systems at customer sites.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control-system issues.
- Troubleshoot robot controllers, servo motors, drives, sensors, PLCs, and related automation equipment.
- Configure and troubleshoot robot programs, I/O, communication, and basic programming issues.
- Support robot teaching, calibration, tool setup, and parameter configuration.
- Conduct regular service and installation visits, ensure timely resolution of customer complaints.
- Prepare service & installation reports, maintenance records, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with the technical teams for issues and resolutions.
- Train customers/operators on basic robot operation, maintenance, and safety procedures.
- Follow all safety procedures while working at customer manufacturing facilities.
- Be willing to frequent travels to customer locations as required.

Preferred candidate profile Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Automation Engineering.

- 25 years of experience in robotics, industrial automation, robot maintenance or field service.
- Good understanding of electrical,



electronics and control systems.
- Basic knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs/servo drives, sensors, and industrial automation.
- Knowledge of industrial robot programming/teaching will be an advantage.
- Ability to read electrical and pneumatic drawings.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Valuable communication and customer-handling skills.
- Comfortable working at customer sites and travelling frequently.
- Ability to work independently as well as with technical team.

- Knowledge of Welding process

Preferred Experience Experience with any of the following will be an added advantage:
- Industrial robot installation and commissioning
- Robot programming and teach pendant operation
- PLC troubleshooting
- Servo motors and drives
- Pneumatic systems
- Machine vision systems
- Welding, material handling, pick-and-place, or other robotic applications
- Industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus, etc.
