Position: Engineer-Powder Coating

Experience: 4 To 10 Years

Location: Sulur, Coimbatore.

Your Profile:

- Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing, or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience in powder coating processes, surface preparation, electrostatic spraying, and curing.
- Knowledge of DFT measurement, adhesion, gloss, shade matching, and coating defect analysis.
- Strong problem-solving skills using 4M, Why-Why Analysis, Pareto, and CAPA methods.
- Positive understanding of safety, 5S, SOP compliance, and cross-functional coordination.

Your Task:

- Plan and execute daily powder coating production as per model and colour-wise requirements.
- Monitor pre-treatment, powder application, booth parameters, and oven curing conditions.
- Ensure DFT, adhesion, gloss, shade quality, and first-piece approval while reducing rejection and rework.




- Coordinate with Maintenance for equipment breakdowns, preventive maintenance, filters, guns, booth, and oven checks.
- Maintain process records, rejection reports, CAPA actions, 5S standards, and drive continuous improvement through Kaizen/QCC.
