Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Location: Thiruvallur

Experience: 5-7 years

Qualification: Diploma/ B.E Mechanical

Salary: 5 lakhs/ annum

Job Responsibilities:

· Handle preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of industrial machinery.

· Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.

· Maintain furnaces, conveyors, compressors, cooling towers, EOT cranes, forklifts and assembly machines.

· Perform machine inspection, alignment, lubrication and component replacement.

· Identify root causes of breakdowns and take corrective action.

· Coordinate with production teams to reduce machine downtime.

· Maintain maintenance schedules, checklists, spare-parts planning and records.

· Ensure equipment reliability, availability and secure operation.

Key Skills:





· Experience in automotive / auto-component manufacturing

· Knowledge of hydraulic & pneumatic systems

· Experience with preventive & predictive maintenance

· Knowledge of PLC basics and electrical troubleshooting

· Experience in press machines, furnaces, conveyors and compressors

· Knowledge of bearings, gearboxes, pumps, motors and lubrication

· Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and breakdown analysis

· Knowledge of TPM / 5S / Kaizen

· Basic knowledge of maintenance planning and spare-parts management

· Ability to read mechanical drawing.
