Position Title Engineer- Mechanical Design

Job Location Hinjewadi, Pune

Educational Qualifications Required: B.E Mechanical

Required Experience

- 5 to 7 years of experience in Mechanical Design Engineering
- Proficiency in Inventor and 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX)

Key Skills & Responsibilities

1. Ability to perform 3D packaging and layout design, including clash detection and space management.
2. Experience in designing structural brackets and frame components, with basic strength assessment considerations.
3. Proficiency in routing pipes, hoses, and tubes, ensuring correct minimum bend radius (R-min), clamp placement, and preparation of isometric documentation.
4. Ability to create detailed 2D manufacturing drawings with a strong understanding of ASME Y14.5 GD&T; standards.
5. Positive understanding of DFM/DFA principles for fabrication, welding, and assembly feasibility.
6. Capability to independently manage assigned tasks, timelines, and deliverables with minimal supervision.
7. Comfortable working directly with client teams at Chakan for design reviews, discussions, and issue resolution.
