Role Description The Energy Settlement Lead is responsible for overseeing end-to-end energy settlement processes, ensuring accurate billing, reconciliation, and reporting for renewable power generation projects in North states primarily UttarPradesh(UP). This full-time hybrid role is based in Lucknow, with a combination of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility.

Day-to-day tasks include monitoring energy generation and consumption data, validating invoices and settlement statements, coordinating with internal teams, utilities, and clients, and resolving discrepancies in energy accounts. The role also involves preparing regular MIS reports, supporting regulatory and compliance requirements, optimizing settlement workflows, and contributing to process improvements.



He is also responsible for all the statutory and regulatory compliance fulfillment and periodic submissions.

He has to perform Power allocation management by ensuring Group Captive Compliance as well customers PPA obligation.

Energy Settlement

Lead collaborates closely with project, finance, and operations teams to maintain transparency and efficiency in all energy-related commercial transactions.

Qualifications

- Robust analytical skills to interpret energy data, identify variances, and support accurate settlement and reporting.
- Demonstrated experience in the energy industry, preferably within renewable energy or power sector organizations.
- Knowledge of energy management principles, including monitoring, forecasting, and optimizing energy usage and costs.
- Understanding of power generation concepts, grid operations, and metering for solar, wind, or hybrid projects.
- Familiarity with energy markets, tariffs, and regulatory frameworks relevant to commercial and industrial consumers.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, BI tools); ability to work with large datasets.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and coordinate with external partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, energy management, finance, or a related field; advanced qualifications in energy or power systems are an advantage.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
