:

We are looking for an experienced Emulation Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in hardware emulation, RTL/netlist-based model development, and system-level debugging. The role will involve developing and integrating emulation models, supporting Palladium-based environments, troubleshooting complex failures, and working closely with Design, Verification, Firmware, Software, and Validation teams.

The ideal candidate should have strong programming and scripting skills, excellent debugging capabilities, and a good understanding of Linux/Unix-based emulation and simulation environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Provide technical leadership and expertise in defining requirements for hardware emulation development and validation.
- Develop emulation models from RTL and netlists and create hardware collateral required for integration with Palladium emulation platforms.
- Support the integration, configuration, and execution of emulation environments and associated models.
- Debug and triage failures across emulation environments and identify root causes efficiently.
- Develop automation and utility scripts using Python, Tcl, and Perl.
- Work extensively in Linux/Unix environments and use shell scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
- Analyze simulation and emulation failures and drive issues through resolution.
- Collaborate with Design, Verification, Firmware, Software, and Validation teams to debug environment and system-level issues.
- Support cross-functional testing and validation activities across hardware and software components.
- Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, and emulation strategy definition.
- Improve emulation flows, debugging processes, automation,



and overall environment reliability.
- Maintain technical documentation, debug methodologies, scripts, and emulation collateral.
- Work closely with extended engineering teams to resolve complex integration and validation issues.

Required Skills &

Experience :

- 6 - 11 years of experience in hardware emulation, verification, validation, or a closely related semiconductor engineering domain.
- Strong hands-on experience with hardware emulation platforms, preferably Cadence Palladium or equivalent.
- Experience developing or integrating emulation models from RTL and/or netlists.
- Strong debugging and failure-triage skills in simulation and emulation environments.
- Good programming and scripting experience with Python, Tcl, and/or Perl.
- Solid hands-on experience with Linux/Unix and shell scripting.
- Good understanding of hardware verification, validation, and system-level debugging.
- Ability to work across Design, Verification, Firmware, Software, and Validation teams to resolve complex issues.
- Solid problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to investigate issues across hardware and software boundaries.
- Good understanding of emulation flows and workplace integration.

Preferred Skills :

- Knowledge of ICE, IXCOM, and hybrid emulation flows.
- Experience with automation of emulation environments and regression/debug workflows.
- Exposure to SoC-level validation and hardware/software co-verification.
- Experience working with large, distributed, cross-functional semiconductor engineering teams.

Education :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
