We are looking for a responsible and experienced Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our ambulance team in Gurugram. The EMT will be responsible for providing immediate medical assistance to patients during ambulance transportation and ensuring secure and timely patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency medical care and first aid to patients during ambulance transportation.
- Assess patients' condition and monitor vital signs such as BP, pulse, SpO₂ and temperature.
- Assist in handling medical emergencies and provide appropriate pre-hospital care.
- Safely transfer and transport patients from the pickup location to the hospital.
- Assist doctors, nurses and other medical staff whenever required.
- Handle and maintain ambulance medical equipment and emergency supplies.
- Ensure the ambulance is properly stocked with essential medical equipment and supplies.
- Maintain accurate patient records and emergency documentation.
- Follow ambulance safety protocols,
infection-control procedures and emergency medical guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with patients, attendants, hospitals and the emergency response team.
- Maintain professionalism and patient confidentiality at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an EMT or in ambulance emergency services.
- Relevant EMT/paramedical certification or qualification.
- Good knowledge of basic life support (BLS), first aid and emergency patient handling.
- Ability to remain calm and make appropriate decisions during emergencies.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Candidates with prior ambulance or emergency-care experience will be preferred.
