We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Engineering Manager to lead a full-stack engineering team and drive the design, development, delivery, and continuous improvement of enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise across Angular, Node.js, Java/Spring Boot, AWS, CI/CD, and GitHub Copilot, along with proven experience in people leadership, stakeholder management, and client-facing engagements.

This role requires a balance of technical leadership and people management. The candidate should be comfortable contributing to technical discussions, reviewing architecture and code, mentoring engineers, managing delivery, and working directly with clients to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

- Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-quality applications.
- Provide technical direction and guidance to full-stack engineering teams.
- Review and contribute to application architecture, technical designs, and development standards.
- Conduct and facilitate code reviews, ensuring adherence to engineering best practices.
- Identify technical risks, dependencies, and areas for improvement and drive them to resolution.
- Promote clean code, reusable components, automation, scalability, security, and performance.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and identify opportunities to improve engineering productivity.

Full-Stack Development The candidate should have strong hands-on experience with:
- Frontend: Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS.
- Backend: Node.js and Java/Spring Boot.
- APIs: RESTful APIs, microservices, authentication/authorization, and API integrations.
- Cloud: AWS services, cloud-native application development, deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Databases: Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Version Control: Git and GitHub.

DevOps & Engineering Practices




- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated software delivery.
- Experience with build, deployment, release, and setting management.
- Familiarity with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD platforms.
- Experience with automated testing, code quality, security scanning, and deployment automation.
- Experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools to improve developer productivity.
- Promote automation and continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle.

People & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop engineers across different experience levels.
- Set clear expectations and provide regular feedback and coaching.
- Manage team capacity, allocation, priorities, and delivery commitments.
- Identify skill gaps and create opportunities for team members to develop their technical and leadership capabilities.
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing engineering culture.
- Support hiring, onboarding, performance management, and career development activities.

Client & Stakeholder Management
- Work directly with clients and business stakeholders to understand requirements, priorities, and business objectives.
- Act as a technical point of contact for the client.
- Participate in client meetings, solution discussions, sprint reviews, demos, and technical workshops.
- Communicate technical concepts and risks clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Manage expectations around scope, timelines, dependencies, and technical constraints.
- Build strong and trusted relationships with client stakeholders.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve client outcomes and engineering delivery.

Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with relevant experience in technical leadership and/or engineering management.
- Strong hands-on experience with Angular and modern frontend development.
- Strong backend development experience with Node.js and Java/Spring Boot.
