- Respond promptly to emergency calls and assess scene safety
- Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs
- Provide basic life support, first aid, CPR, and oxygen therapy
- Control bleeding, immobilize injuries, and manage airways as needed
- Safely lift, move, and transport patients to medical facilities
- Operate ambulances and maintain vehicles and equipment
- Communicate clearly with dispatch, paramedics, and hospital staff
Requirements & Skills
- Diploma or equivalent degree holder
- Valid EMT certification and state licensure
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Knowledge of emergency medical protocols and procedures
- Ability to remain calm and decisive in high-stress situations
