Role Summary

We are looking for a hands-on Embedded Systems Team Lead with strong experience in ARM-based embedded systems, firmware development, USB, board bring-up, hardware/firmware integration, and debugging.

The candidate will lead technical decisions, mentor engineers, review designs and code, and own embedded product development from architecture through production .

Key Responsibilities

- Lead embedded product development from architecture, prototyping, and board bring-up through validation and production .
- Design and develop ARM-based firmware, BSPs, bootloaders, and device drivers .
- Lead USB and peripheral interface development , integration, and debugging.
- Review schematics, PCB designs, component selection, power, clocks, and reset circuits.
- Troubleshoot complex hardware, firmware, and hardware/firmware integration issues.
- Conduct design and code reviews while ensuring engineering best practices.
- Mentor embedded hardware/firmware engineers and provide technical guidance on architecture, debugging, and root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with Hardware, Firmware, Software, QA, Manufacturing, and Product teams.
- Own technical planning, task allocation, and delivery for the embedded engineering team.
- Support product validation, certification, manufacturing, and production-related issues.

Mandatory Skills Experience
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in Embedded Systems / Firmware Development.
- Strong expertise in ARM Cortex-M and/or Cortex-A .
- Strong programming skills in Embedded C/C++ .




- Experience with Bare-metal and RTOS-based systems .
- Strong experience in Board Bring-up and Hardware/Firmware Integration .
- Hands-on experience with USB 2.0 , including enumeration, descriptors, endpoints, and control/bulk/interrupt transfers.
- Experience with USB device classes such as HID, CCID, CDC, Mass Storage, and Composite .
- Strong knowledge of embedded interfaces: SPI, I2C, UART, GPIO, ADC/DAC, PWM, CAN, and Ethernet .
- Experience with BSP, Bootloader, Device Drivers, and low-level firmware .
- Strong hardware debugging and schematic review experience.
- Hands-on experience with JTAG/SWD, GDB, Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, and Protocol Analyzer .
- Experience with GCC/ARM GCC, Keil, IAR , or equivalent toolchains.
- Strong understanding of MCU architecture, interrupts, DMA, timers, memory, clocks, watchdogs, and power modes .
- Experience with Git and embedded software development/release processes.
- Prior experience leading or mentoring Embedded Hardware/Firmware engineers .

Qualifications
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science , or a related discipline.
