Responsibilities

- Design PCB schematics, layouts, and BOMs for new and existing products.

- Select components based on cost, availability, and performance.

- Develop and integrate sensors, power systems, and control circuits.

- Develop embedded C/C++ firmware for ARM-based MCUs.

- Work with RTOS, CAN/CAN-FD, and sensor communication protocols.

- Implement OTA/DFU updates and power optimization.

- Debug hardware, firmware, and field issues.

- Collaborate with software, testing, and procurement teams.

- Document hardware and firmware designs throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements

- Hands-on experience in embedded hardware and firmware development.

- Proficiency in PCB design tools such as Altium or KiCad.

- Robust embedded C/C++ and ARM Cortex-M experience.

- Experience with RTOS and CAN/CAN-FD.

- Knowledge of I2C, SPI, UART, RS485, and OneWire.

- Experience with GSM/LTE, GNSS, BLE, and IoT/telematics.

- Understanding of power management, EMI/EMC, and regulatory compliance.

- Experience taking products from prototype to production.

- Knowledge of AIS140, OBD-II, BMS, and vehicle tracking is preferred.

- Proficiency with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or Copilot for engineering work.
