ThinkX Technology is an electronics R&D; and manufacturing company specializing in IoT, wireless communication, safety and security systems, emergency response systems, and custom electronic product development .

We are looking for a hands-on Embedded Hardware & Firmware Engineer who can work across PCB design, embedded programming, prototyping, testing, and product development .

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop electronic circuits and complete PCB assemblies for new products.
- Prepare schematics, PCB layouts, BOMs and manufacturing files.
- Design 2-layer and 4-layer PCBs with proper component placement, routing, grounding and signal integrity considerations.
- Develop firmware for microcontrollers and embedded systems.
- Program and debug Microchip PIC / AVR / dsPIC and other microcontrollers .
- Work with MPLAB X, XC8/XC16/XC32 or equivalent development environments.
- Interface sensors, displays, relays, GSM modules, LoRa modules and other electronic peripherals.
- Work with communication protocols such as UART, RS232, RS485, I2C, SPI, CAN and Modbus .
- Perform PCB bring-up, hardware debugging and firmware debugging.
- Use test equipment such as multimeter, oscilloscope, logic analyzer and power supply for troubleshooting.
- Develop and test prototypes and make design improvements based on testing results.
- Identify hardware/firmware issues and provide practical solutions.
- Coordinate with PCB manufacturers, component suppliers and production teams.
- Support transfer of successfully tested prototypes into production.
- Prepare technical documentation including schematics, BOMs, test procedures and product specifications.




- Participate in R&D; activities and development of new IoT, wireless and safety-related electronic products.

Required Skills
- Strong understanding of analog and digital electronics .
- Good experience in PCB schematic and layout design .
- Practical experience with embedded C programming .
- Hands-on experience with Microchip microcontrollers will be highly preferred.
- Experience with PCB design software such as KiCad
- Valuable understanding of power supplies, regulators, MOSFETs, relays, sensors and communication interfaces.
- Ability to read and understand electronic schematics and datasheets.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Ability to independently take a product from concept → schematic → PCB → firmware → prototype → testing .

Good to Have
- Experience with LoRa / RF / GSM / 4G modules .
- Experience with IoT products and wireless communication.
- Experience with RS485 / Modbus .
- Experience with battery-operated products and low-power design.
- Experience with ESP32, STM32 or other microcontrollers.
- Knowledge of EMC/EMI considerations and product certification requirements.
- Experience working with electronic manufacturing and production.

Who We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who is hands-on and enjoys building real products , rather than someone limited to only PCB layout or only firmware development.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working on a prototype, connecting test equipment, debugging a circuit, modifying the PCB or firmware, and taking the product toward a production-ready design.

Education

B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Electrical, Instrumentation or a related field.
