Key Responsibilities

- Lead embedded hardware design and development for automotive ECUs.

- Analyze hardware requirements and propose suitable circuit/design solutions.

- Design and review analog, digital, and power electronics circuits, including DC/DC converters.

- Perform component selection, datasheet analysis, calculations, simulations, and worst-case analysis.

- Develop/review schematics, PCB layouts, BOMs, and support hardware releases.

- Perform board-level testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause/failure analysis.

- Prepare and execute hardware verification/test plans and test reports.

- Support EMC/EMI testing and troubleshooting and coordinate with internal/external validation labs.

- Work with SW, PCB, validation, manufacturing, suppliers, and other stakeholders for HW-SW integration and issue resolution.

- Support product changes, design improvements, and production/maintenance activities.

- Prepare technical documentation, lessons learned, and best practices.

Mandatory Skills

- Strong knowledge of Embedded Hardware / Automotive ECU development.

- Good knowledge of Analog, Digital & Power Electronics.

- Hands-on experience in schematic design, PCB review/design, component selection and BOM.





- Strong hardware debugging and circuit analysis skills.

- Experience in HW verification, board-level testing and troubleshooting.

- Knowledge of EMC/EMI concepts and automotive EMC standards such as CISPR 25, ISO 11452 and ISO 10605.

- Knowledge of automotive standards such as ISO 16750 / LV124 is preferred.

- Experience with lab equipment such as Oscilloscope, function generator and power supplies.

- Valuable understanding of CAN, LIN, Ethernet and ECU interfaces is an advantage.

- Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with LTSpice, PSpice, MATLAB/MATCAD or similar simulation tools.

- Experience with Altium or equivalent PCB design tools.

- Knowledge of FMEA, FMEDA, DRBFM and ISO 26262.

- Embedded C knowledge is an advantage.

- Experience in automotive product development and manufacturing processes.
