Role Summary We're hiring an Embedded Hardware Engineer to design and bring up analog and digital electronics for our sensor products. This is a primarily hands-on role — schematic capture through board bring-up and field validation — with room to mentor junior engineers and interns as the team grows.

Key Responsibilities ● Design schematics and PCB layouts for sensor front-ends, power supplies, and MCU carrier boards (ESP32, STM32, CM4-based designs) ● Select and qualify components — sensors, analog front-ends, power ICs, connectors — balancing cost, availability, and field-reliability requirements ● Bring up new boards: power-on validation, signal integrity checks, debugging with oscilloscope/logic analyzer, and root-causing failures ● Design and validate power supply stages (buck/boost/LDO, battery charging, solar/MPPT where applicable) for field-deployed, often battery- or solar-powered devices ● Work with Embedded Firmware on sensor interfacing (I2C, SPI, UART, RS-485/Modbus, SDI-12) and debug hardware/firmware boundary issues together ● Support DFM/DFT reviews with Design Engineering and coordinate with contract manufacturers during pilot builds ● Run environmental and reliability testing (thermal, humidity, vibration) relevant to outdoor-deployed monitoring equipment ● Maintain schematics, BOMs,

Experience ● 3–5 years of hands-on embedded hardware design experience, from schematic capture through bring-up ● Proficiency with a skilled EDA tool (KiCad or Altium) for schematic and PCB design ● Strong analog and digital circuit design fundamentals — power regulation, signal conditioning, sensor front-ends, MCU support circuitry ● Working knowledge of ESP32 and/or STM32 reference designs and their power/peripheral requirements ● Comfortable with lab bring-up and debug: oscilloscope, multimeter, logic analyzer, bench power supply ● Understanding of common embedded communication interfaces: I2C, SPI, UART, RS-485 ● Familiarity with DFM principles and working directly with contract manufacturers ● Ability to read datasheets and application notes and translate them into working designs ● Experience with battery-powered or solar/MPPT-charged field electronics ● Exposure to analog front-ends for gas or electrochemical sensing ● Familiarity with EMI/EMC pre-compliance testing and design for compliance ● Experience with environmental/outdoor-rated enclosure and connector selection ● Prior experience in a startup or small-team R&D; environment where you owned a design end-to-end

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
