Position Title: Embedded Developer

Job Overview: As an Embedded Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining embedded software for various electronic devices. Your primary focus will be on low-level programming, hardware-software integration, and optimizing system performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality embedded solutions that meet the specified requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Embedded Software Development:
- Design and implement embedded software for microcontrollers, microprocessors, and other embedded systems.

- Develop and optimize low-level drivers and firmware to interface with hardware components.

- Hardware Integration:

- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software with electronic hardware designs.

- Debug and troubleshoot hardware-software integration issues.

- System Architecture:

- Contribute to the system architecture design, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and meeting performance requirements.

- Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS):

- Work with RTOS or bare-metal environments to develop real-time embedded systems.

- Implement scheduling algorithms and manage system resources in real-time applications.

- Testing and Validation:

- Develop and execute test plans to ensure the reliability and functionality of embedded systems.

- Conduct unit testing, integration testing,



and system testing as part of the development process.

- Documentation:

- Create and maintain documentation for software design, code, and testing procedures.

- Collaborate with technical writers to produce user manuals and other documentation.

- Collaboration:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, firmware developers, and quality assurance teams.

- Participate in design reviews and provide input on system architecture and software design.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

- Proven experience in embedded software development, including C/C++ programming for embedded systems.

- Familiarity with microcontrollers, microprocessors, and embedded system architectures.

- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and/or bare-metal programming.

- Solid understanding of hardware-software interfaces and communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART).

- Proficiency in debugging tools and techniques for embedded systems.

- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Mandatory skills: Embedded C, Linux Internals, Baremetal, BSP, Automotive.
