Position : SIGINT/ELINT Design Engineer .

Key Responsibilities

- System Architecture & Design: Design end-to-end RF/digital payload architectures and functional blocks for passive signal interception, emitter geolocation, and spectrum monitoring. [1, 2]
- Algorithm Development: Model and optimize digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms using [MATLAB / Python] for modulation recognition, emitter fingerprinting, and signal classification. [1, 2, 3]
- Hardware/FPGA/Embedded Implementation: Translate theoretical DSP and SIGINT/ELINT algorithms into productive, real-time implementations on FPGAs (using Verilog/VHDL/SystemVerilog), DSP processors, or embedded platforms. [1, 2]
- Integration & Testing: Perform rigorous integration, verification, and validation (V&V;) of hardware and software components in a Systems Integration Laboratory (SIL) and on target deployment platforms. [1]
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with RF engineers, antenna designers, systems engineers, and software teams to ensure seamless system-level performance and compliance with military/aerospace standards. [1]
- Documentation: Write detailed engineering specifications, micro-architecture documents, test procedures, and compliance reports. [1, 2, 3]

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering,



or Physics. [1]
- Experience: 3+ to 8+ years of hands-on experience in RF, digital design, or signal processing for defense, aerospace, or communication systems. [1, 2]

- Technical Expertise:
- Deep understanding of SIGINT, ELINT, and COMINT principles, radar characteristics, and emitter profiling.
- Proficiency in simulation and modeling tools such as MATLAB and Python.
- Experience with Software Defined Radio (SDR) frameworks, digital down-conversion (DDC), and channelization.
- Knowledge of RTL design (Verilog/VHDL) for FPGA implementation or embedded C/C++ programming. [1, 2, 3, 4]
- Testing & Lab Skills: Hands-on experience with lab equipment including Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, and Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs).
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a relevant [Secret / Top Secret] security clearance (if applicable by region/defense contractor standard).

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with airborne, UAV, or satellite intelligence payload architectures.
- Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) models for automated raw IQ signal classification and threat detection.
- Knowledge of Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) or Open Systems Architecture (OSA) standards. [1, 2, 3, 4].
