Role Description This is a full time on-site role for an Electronics Testing Engineer based in Coimbatore.

The Electronics Testing

Engineer will plan, design, and execute test procedures for a variety of electronic and renewable energy products, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards. Daily tasks include preparing and running test cases, performing functional testing on prototypes and production units, documenting test results, and identifying root causes of defects or performance issues. The role involves close collaboration with design, R&D;, and manufacturing teams to support product validation,



continuous improvement, and timely issue resolution. The engineer will also help maintain testing equipment, contribute to test automation and optimization, and follow established quality and safety procedures in the lab and production environments.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in test engineering, including planning and designing test approaches for electronic products.
- Hands-on experience in test execution and working with defined test cases in lab or production settings.
- Knowledge of general testing methodologies and functional testing of electronics, power electronics, or embedded systems.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams, technical specifications, and test reports.
- Familiarity with common electronic test instruments (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, power analyzers, signal generators).
- Understanding of basic safety standards and quality management practices for electrical and electronic products.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams in R&D; and manufacturing.
- Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to troubleshoot issues systematically.
- Experience in renewable energy, power electronics, or IoT product testing is an advantage.
