Position: Electrician – Skilled Worker

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair work in Coke Oven Battery, CHP, CPCD and associated plant areas.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment and plant machinery.
- Attend electrical faults in motors, starters, MCC panels, DBs, control panels, transformers and switchgear.
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of HT/LT motors, induction motors, pumps, fans, conveyors and material-handling equipment.
- Work on conveyor systems, belt conveyors, crushers, screens, feeders and other CHP equipment.
- Carry out electrical maintenance of Coke Oven Battery equipment, including associated drives, motors, control systems and field electrical equipment.
- Handle electrical maintenance activities related to CPCD systems and associated plant equipment.
- Check and troubleshoot single-phase and three-phase electrical circuits.
- Perform cable termination, cable laying, gland fitting, lugging and electrical connections.




- Identify electrical faults using appropriate testing instruments such as multimeter, clamp meter, megger and tester.
- Carry out installation and maintenance of lighting systems, industrial sockets, junction boxes and electrical panels.
- Assist in electrical erection, commissioning and modification activities as required.
- Maintain proper records of breakdowns, preventive maintenance and electrical work completed.
- Follow electrical safety procedures, LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), PPE requirements and plant safety rules.
- Coordinate with supervisors and operations teams to ensure protected and continuous plant operation.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and safe working conditions at the work location.

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of industrial electrical maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with motors, MCCs, starters, panels, conveyors and electrical control circuits.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical breakdowns independently.
- Knowledge of electrical safety and safe isolation procedures.
- Experience in steel plant / coke oven / CHP / industrial plant maintenance will be preferred.
- Ability to work in shift duties and plant operating conditions.

Pay: ₹8,694.99 - ₹20,000.00 per month
