We are looking for motivated Electrical Site Engineers to join our team for ongoing and upcoming BEST Mumbai electrical distribution projects. The role offers hands-on exposure to substation works, underground cable laying, and electrical erection & commissioning activities. Fresh graduates as well as experienced professionals are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and execute electrical distribution works at site as per project specifications and timelines.
- Assist in erection and commissioning works at substations, including switchgear and associated equipment.
- Learn and support activities related to underground cable laying, jointing, terminations, and allied electrical works.
- Monitor daily site operations and ensure adherence to approved project plans and safety norms.
- Maintain daily progress reports, site records, and documentation as per company policies.
- Manage manpower at site and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
- Identify, resolve, and report site issues; manage risks in coordination with seniors and project managers.
- Read, understand, and interpret technical drawings, layouts, and specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, utilities, and inspection authorities as required.
- Willingness to travel for site commissioning activities depending on project requirements.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Freshers with strong learning attitude or candidates with experience in electrical distribution projects preferred.
- Preference will be given to candidates from the Mumbai region.
- Good communication and basic documentation skills.
- Open to learning, adaptable, and willing to work in site conditions.
Salary & Perks
- CTC: ₹2.0 LPA to ₹4.0 LPA (based on qualification and experience).
- Travel from office to site and back will be provided.
