IOWIT Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to manage electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability of industrial printing and holography production equipment.

Experience

Industry Requirement

Candidates must have hands-on experience in the printing, packaging, converting, or allied industrial manufacturing industry. Experience in holographic or security printing processes is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems of printing and holography production machines.
- Handle preventive and breakdown maintenance of industrial electrical systems.
- Diagnose faults in PLC, VFD, servo drives, sensors, relays, contactors, motors, control panels, and industrial automation systems.
- Troubleshoot machine control circuits, power distribution, SMPS, electrical panels, and safety circuits.
- Support electrical maintenance of printing, coating, embossing, metallizing, slitting, and associated production equipment.
- Maintain electrical systems used in roll-to-roll manufacturing and continuous production lines.
- Coordinate with production and mechanical teams to minimize machine downtime.
- Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and machine maintenance records.
- Identify recurring electrical failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Support installation, commissioning, modification, and upgrading of electrical and automation systems.
- Ensure electrical safety, proper earthing, protection systems, and compliance with industrial safety practices.
- Maintain critical electrical spare parts and coordinate with vendors for technical support.
- Assist in machine improvement, automation, energy optimization, and process reliability projects.




- Required Technical Skills
- Solid knowledge of industrial electrical maintenance.
- PLC troubleshooting and basic programming knowledge.
- Knowledge of VFDs, servo drives, AC/DC motors, encoders, proximity sensors, photoelectric sensors, temperature controllers, and industrial instrumentation.
- Knowledge of electrical control panels and industrial wiring.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and control circuit drawings.
- Experience with troubleshooting automated production machinery.
- Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
- Basic understanding of industrial communication systems such as Modbus, Ethernet/IP, or similar protocols.

Industry-Specific Requirements

- Minimum 7 years of hands-on electrical maintenance experience in the printing or packaging industry.
- Practical experience with printing, coating, embossing, metallizing, slitting, or similar continuous production machinery.
- Working knowledge of holography and holographic manufacturing processes is required.
- Experience with roll-to-roll production equipment and associated electrical systems is preferred.
- Experience with UV-based production equipment, embossing systems, or metallizing equipment will be an advantage.

Education Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a hands-on engineer who can independently diagnose electrical and automation problems on production equipment, respond quickly to machine breakdowns, and develop preventive maintenance systems to improve machine uptime and reliability.
