- Perform power system studies: load flow, short circuit, protection coordination, arc flash, motor starting and earthing.
- Prepare single line diagrams, schematics, cable routing and termination drawings.
- Specify and size transformers, switchgear, MCCs, VSDs, generators, UPS and earthing systems; issue datasheets and material requisitions.
- Carry out hazardous area classification and select Ex equipment in line with IEC 60079.
- Interface with the utility provider and client for approvals and energisation requirements.
- Review vendor drawings and support FAT, installation and pre-commissioning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering.
- 6 to 12 years of electrical design experience in oil & gas or petrochemical projects.
- Hands-on experience with power system analysis software.
- Positive command of written and spoken English.
