Role Description This is a full-time, in office Electrical Engineer role based at the Kathua facility.

The Electrical

Engineer will oversee electrical systems and equipment for production operations, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient performance.

Key responsibilities include supporting electrical design and installation, monitoring power distribution and power systems, and coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities. The role involves troubleshooting electrical issues, optimizing energy usage, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards,



and working closely with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement and plant expansion projects.

The Electrical

Engineer will also assist in documentation, reporting, and implementation of best practices in line with VBL’s operational and sustainability goals.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering and Electricity concepts, with the ability to apply theoretical knowledge to industrial operations.
- Experience in Electrical Design for plant equipment, production lines, and utility systems.
- Practical knowledge of Power Distribution and Power Systems, including load management, panel operations, and safety procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Hands-on experience in industrial or manufacturing environments, preferably in FMCG or process industries.
- Familiarity with relevant electrical codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in using electrical design and diagnostic tools, and comfort with basic automation and control systems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with maintenance, production, and engineering teams.
- Willingness to work on-site in Kathua and support flexible shift schedules as required by plant operations.
