Role Description This is a full-time Electrical Design Engineer role based in Hyderabad, offered in a hybrid work model that combines onsite work with some work-from-home flexibility.

The Electrical Design

Engineer will design and develop electrical systems and components for commercial and industrial projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and safety regulations. Daily responsibilities include preparing detailed electrical drawings and schematics, performing load calculations, and planning power distribution layouts. The role involves collaborating with project managers, mechanical and civil engineers, and vendors to integrate electrical designs into overall project plans,



as well as reviewing designs for cost-effectiveness and reliability. The engineer will also support installation teams, troubleshoot design-related issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and documentation.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Design and Design Engineering for commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Electrical Engineering and Electricity, including circuit theory, safety standards, and applicable codes.
- Candidates should possess experience in Power Distribution, including load calculation, panel scheduling, and system layout planning.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with CAD/CAE tools and electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN, ETAP or similar).
- Candidates should possess good analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to review technical documentation accurately.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline; relevant industry certifications or exposure to standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, NEC) are an advantage.
- Experience in building services, industrial automation, or power systems projects in a consulting or engineering environment is beneficial.
