Role Description The Electrical Design Engineer (Solar / BESS) is a full time, on-site role based in Bhopal. The role involves designing electrical systems for solar PV and battery energy storage (BESS) projects, including preparing single-line diagrams, layout drawings, cable schedules, and equipment specifications.

The engineer will support power distribution design from generation to interconnection with the grid. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing technical standards, coordinating with civil and mechanical design teams, supporting feasibility studies, and optimizing system configurations for performance, safety, and cost. The role also requires collaboration with clients, vendors,



and internal stakeholders, preparing technical documentation, and providing engineering support during procurement, construction, and commissioning.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering, Electricity, and Power Distribution, with the ability to apply these principles to solar and battery energy storage systems.
- Proficiency in Electrical Design and Design Engineering for utility-scale or C&I; solar and BESS projects, including system sizing and equipment selection.
- Experience with relevant design and analysis tools (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, PVSyst or similar) and familiarity with applicable codes and standards (IEC, IS, IEEE).
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, prepare accurate documentation, and maintain attention to detail in engineering calculations.
- Robust problem-solving skills, capacity to work on-site in Bhopal, and readiness to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
- Prior experience in renewable energy, utility-scale projects, or grid interconnection studies is an advantage.
- Good communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines responsibly.
