Job Summary

As an Electrical Engineer you will play a key role within the Focus Market team, delivering data centre projects as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You will manage and coordinate the production of design calculations, drawings, specifications, tender documents, and feasibility studies, ensuring timely delivery within agreed cost and quality constraints. Working with a high degree of autonomy, you will supervise engineers, CAD/BIM staff, and graduates, liaise with internal disciplines and external stakeholders, and represent the electrical discipline in project meetings.

The role requires a relevant degree, professional qualification, and involvement in creative design development under the technical guidance of senior leadership.

Responsibilities

Requirements

- Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent), professionally qualified/chartered or aspiring to registration, with 6+ years experience; data centre or mission-critical experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of local and international codes, data centre standards, fire and authority requirements
- Proven capability in producing electrical designs, calculations, specifications, plant room layouts, schematics, and hand sketches for BIM
- Hands-on experience with engineering tools such as ETAP, Amtech, Dialux, Revit, and AutoCAD
- Experience in concept development, sustainability-led design, multi-disciplinary coordination, and supervision/mentoring of junior staff.
- Involvement in FATs, site inspections, commissioning, BOQs, cost estimates, and successful project delivery.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines with excellent communication skills.

Location

Based primarily in Mumbai with collaboration across India, international travel, and strong engagement with clients and industry stakeholders.
