We are looking for a detail-oriented Electrical AutoCAD Draftsman to prepare accurate electrical drawings and documentation for commercial and residential projects. Freshers with relevant AutoCAD training/certification are also welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
- Prepare electrical drawings using AutoCAD 2D
- Create power distribution and lighting layouts
- Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), wiring diagrams and schematic drawings
- Prepare earthing, lightning protection and ELV drawings
- Work on drawings related to fire alarm, CCTV, access control and public address systems
- Prepare shop drawings, construction drawings and as-built drawings
- Modify drawings based on engineering changes and client comments
- Coordinate with electrical engineers, architects and MEP teams
- Maintain drawing registers, revisions and project documentation
- Assist with quantity take-offs and material schedules
- Ensure drawings are completed accurately and within project deadlines
Requirements
- 12th Passed with AutoCAD certification/training
- 0–5 years of experience; freshers may apply
- Positive knowledge of AutoCAD 2D
- Understanding of electrical drawings, symbols and drafting standards
- Knowledge of electrical systems used in commercial, residential or industrial projects
- Ability to understand engineering drawings and sketches
- Good attention to detail and coordination skills
- Basic knowledge of MS Office / Excel
- Candidates with experience in EPC, construction, MEP or engineering consultancy will be preferred
