- B.E./B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering
- Diploma candidates with exceptional experience may also be considered
- Knowledge of Industrial Safety Standards

Reporting To

Plant Head / Director

Job Purpose To ensure maximum uptime and reliability of all plant machinery, utilities, electrical systems, and material handling equipment through preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.

Key ResponsibilitiesMachinery Maintenance

- Maintain and troubleshoot PTW machines, CNC Plasma Cutting Machines, Beam Processing Machines, and fabrication equipment.
- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Ensure optimum machine availability and production continuity.
- Analyze recurring failures and implement corrective actions.

EOT Crane Maintenance
- Maintain EOT Cranes, Hoists, Gearboxes, Motors, Brakes, and Control Panels.
- Coordinate statutory inspections and certifications.
- Monitor crane safety systems and preventive maintenance schedules.

Welding Equipment Maintenance
- Maintain MIG, MAG, SAW, ARC, and TIG welding machines.
- Troubleshoot welding machine electrical and electronic faults.
- Maintain welding accessories, cables, wire feeders, and rectifiers.

Electrical Maintenance
- Handle HT/LT electrical systems.
- Maintain transformers, PCC panels, MCC panels, APFC panels, VFDs, and distribution boards.
- Troubleshoot electrical breakdowns and power-related issues.
- Ensure proper earthing and electrical safety compliance.

Utilities Maintenance




- Maintain air compressors, DG sets, pumps, lighting systems, and water distribution systems.
- Monitor utility consumption and identify energy-saving opportunities.

Preventive Maintenance
- Develop annual, monthly, and weekly maintenance schedules.
- Maintain equipment history records and maintenance logs.
- Implement TPM and predictive maintenance practices.

Spare Parts Management
- Maintain critical spare inventory.
- Identify minimum stock levels for essential spares.
- Coordinate with procurement for timely sourcing.

Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with electrical and mechanical safety standards.
- Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Implement Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures.

Team Management
- Lead maintenance technicians, electricians, and fitters.
- Allocate manpower effectively during shutdowns and breakdowns.
- Train operators on machine care and first-level maintenance.

Desired Candidate Profile
- Experience in Structural Steel Fabrication Industry preferred.
- Ability to independently handle a 1000–1200 MT/month fabrication plant.
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
- Good leadership and documentation skills.
- Willingness to attend emergency breakdowns beyond working hours when required.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
