We are looking for a compassionate, dependable, and responsible Elderly Caregiver/Caretaker to provide personal care and daily support to an elderly individual. The ideal candidate will be patient, respectful, trustworthy, and committed to providing a safe and comfortable environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
- Assist with mobility, walking, and transfers as needed.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements.
- Assist with medication reminders as directed by the family or healthcare provider.
- Accompany the individual to medical appointments and other activities when needed.
- Monitor general well-being and report any changes or concerns to the family.
- Assist with light housekeeping and laundry related to the individual's care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living setting.
- Provide assistance with toileting and other personal-care needs.
- Follow the family's care instructions and established routines.
- Maintain professionalism, privacy, and confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience caring for elderly individuals preferred.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude.
- Reliable and trustworthy.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to assist with mobility and daily personal-care tasks.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
- Caregiver certification or relevant training is a plus.
