Position: EHS Officer / HSE Officer

Location: Vapi, Gujarat

Experience: 3–5 Years

Qualification: PGDIS / Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety – Mandatory

Industry: Chemical / Specialty Chemical / Pharma / API Manufacturing

Job Purpose To manage and support Health, Safety & Environmental activities at the manufacturing facility, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, company HSE standards, and applicable environmental and safety management systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day plant-level HSE activities and compliance.
- Conduct HIRA, risk assessments, safety inspections and workplace audits.
- Ensure proper PPE selection, usage and compliance across the plant.
- Monitor ETP operations, effluent treatment and safe discharge requirements.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 requirements.
- Support compliance with GMP / ICH Q7 guidelines and approved SOPs.
- Prepare, implement and update HSE SOPs, procedures and safety guidelines.
- Conduct incident/accident investigations and follow up on corrective & preventive actions.
- Monitor environmental, occupational health and statutory safety compliance.
- Conduct safety training, toolbox talks and awareness programs.




- Support emergency preparedness, fire safety and other HSE initiatives.
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across the manufacturing facility.

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should have:
- Mandatory PGDIS / Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety.
- 3–5 years of relevant HSE experience in a chemical, pharmaceutical, API, specialty chemical or similar manufacturing plant.
- Practical knowledge of HIRA, Risk Assessment, PPE, Safety Audits and Incident Investigation.
- Exposure to ETP/environmental compliance.
- Working knowledge of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001.
- Knowledge of GMP / ICH Q7 will be an advantage.
- Positive communication, documentation and coordination skills.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹750,000.00 per year
