Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students and parents regarding suitable academic programs, courses, and career opportunities.
- Understand students’ educational backgrounds, interests, goals, and requirements.
- Provide accurate information about courses, eligibility criteria, admission processes, and career prospects.
- Conduct counseling sessions through phone calls, online meetings, and face-to-face interactions.
- Follow up with prospective students and guide them throughout the admission process.
- Convert qualified leads into admissions by providing personalized counseling and addressing concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions, follow-ups, and admissions in the CRM.
- Build strong and positive relationships with students and parents.
- Coordinate with academic advisors and internal teams to ensure a smooth admission experience.
- Achieve assigned counseling, follow-up, and admission targets.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Graduate in any discipline.
- Experience: 2–3 years of experience in academic counselling, education sales, telecalling, or a related field preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid interpersonal and active-listening skills.
- Ability to understand student needs and recommend appropriate educational options.
- Persuasive, confident, and target-oriented approach.
- Good follow-up and relationship-management skills.
