Position: EDI Developer – RPG iSeries

CTC Budget: ₹15-18 LPA

Shift Timing: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Notice Period: Immediate to 15 Days

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced EDI Developer with strong IBM i (AS400/iSeries) and RPG development experience. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in RPG programming, including RPGLE and RPG-FREE, CLP, DB2, and EDI concepts.

Experience with Cleo EEI, Cleo Harmony, or Extol EEI is highly preferred. The candidate should be capable of developing, enhancing, debugging, and maintaining enterprise applications and supporting EDI-related integrations.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance and maintain IBM i (AS400/iSeries) applications using RPG, RPGLE, RPG-FREE and CLP.
- Work on EDI-related application development and integration requirements.
- Analyze existing applications and implement enhancements based on business requirements.
- Develop and maintain DB2 database applications using SQL and Embedded SQL.
- Debug production and development issues using the IBM i System Debugger.
- Perform code analysis, debugging, optimization and performance tuning.
- Manage Library Lists, File Members, IFS and IBM i system objects.
- Work with Cleo EEI, Cleo Harmony or Extol EEI where applicable.
- Troubleshoot application and EDI integration issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during development, testing and deployment.
- Prepare technical documentation and provide production support.
