Role Description The Ecommerce Business Owner is a full time, on-site position based in Delhi, India. This role is responsible for owning and managing end-to-end ecommerce operations, including product listing, pricing, promotion, and order lifecycle management on various online marketplaces and direct-to-consumer platforms. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing sales data, monitoring key performance metrics, optimizing product catalog visibility, and coordinating with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams to ensure timely fulfillment and high customer satisfaction.

The role also involves developing and executing ecommerce growth strategies, managing online advertising and promotional campaigns, overseeing customer service processes, and ensuring compliance with platform policies and local regulations.

Qualifications

- Strong ecommerce management skills, including experience with online marketplaces, product catalog management, and order processing.
- Solid business and strategic thinking abilities, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and developing growth plans for online businesses.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, using tools such as spreadsheets, dashboards, or analytics platforms to track KPIs and inform decisions.
- Knowledge of digital marketing concepts, such as SEO, paid advertising, social media marketing, and conversion optimization.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams, vendors, and external partners.
- Comfort with technology and ecommerce tools, including content management systems, marketplace portals, and basic Excel or similar software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in running or managing an ecommerce business.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership, solve problems independently, and adapt in a fast-paced retail or startup environment.
- Experience with Indian ecommerce ecosystems and logistics networks is an advantage.
