Overview:

The E-Learning Development Specialist supports the conversion, migration, quality assurance, troubleshooting, and deployment of web-based learning content. The role will contribute to the high-volume conversion of existing WBT courses for use in the My Learning environment, ensuring each course is technically functional, compliant, packaged in the required format, and ready for deployment to an LMS or LCMS. The specialist will work closely with project and learning stakeholders, provide transparent status updates, and maintain quality throughout the development life cycle.

Qualifications & Technical Proficiency:

- Bachelor's degree in instructional design, learning technology, computer applications, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Good hands-on experience with Adobe Captivate, including Adobe Captivate Classic.
- Working knowledge of the e-learning development life cycle, course packaging, testing, deployment, and post-deployment validation.
- Knowledge of SCORM, xAPI/Tin Can, web-based course publishing, HTML, and related code or configuration updates.
- Strong quality assurance, troubleshooting, documentation, and project management skills.
- Experience in course migration or bulk WBT conversion is an added advantage.
- Clear written and spoken English for coordination through email, instant messaging, and phone.

Core Responsibilities:

- Convert, update, and migrate web-based training courses using Adobe Captivate and other required tools.
- Add the required rostering URL and edit internal URLs by removing or updating links as specified.
- Check video playback, links, navigation, interactions, and overall course functionality.
- Verify security markings, based on client provided guidelines, before release.
- Generate and publish course packages in xAPI/Tin Can, SCORM, or web version based on the requirement.
- Work with xAPI code, HTML,



and other supporting files or configurations needed to resolve course issues.
- Perform pre-deployment quality testing before the course is uploaded to the LMS or LCMS.
- Perform post-deployment quality testing in the LMS or LCMS and document results.
- Troubleshoot and fix course-related technical, packaging, launch, content, and playback issues.
- Complete additional development, conversion, or validation activities based on project needs.
- Manage email communication and obtain required confirmations from My Learning stakeholders.
- Track assigned work, progress, defects, rework, and completion status to support project management and quality goals.

Work Experience:

- Relevant experience (2-5 Years) in e-learning development, WBT conversion, course migration, or digital learning content support.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience developing, editing, publishing, and troubleshooting courses in Adobe Captivate.
- Experience testing courses before and after deployment to an LMS or LCMS.
- Experience generating SCORM, xAPI/Tin Can, and web-based learning outputs.
- Experience working with HTML or related course files to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Experience supporting high-volume content conversion or migration projects is preferred.
